I was given the opportunity to photograph the Zoppa family over the weekend. They recently just moved here from Connecticut and are settling into this little town of Mooresville, NC. The Zoppa's have two beautiful daughters and a very handsome son. They were all so very sweet and were such a pleasure to photograph. The kids were so well behaved despite us shooting for an hour in the very chilly weather. They were champs! It was awesome getting to meet this wonderful family and I hope to work with them again in the future!
We shot around 3:30 and it was very overcast out. A lot of people think that is a downfall for taking photographs, but it actually has some very nice advantages. Shooting on an overcast day is great because you end up with no harsh lighting or shadows in your photographs. It gives you soft, even light. It is like shooting with a natural softbox! Photographing on overcast days is one of my favorite times to take pictures.
